My immediate family comprises of Mum, Dad and my sister, who is two and a half years older than me.

My father, Geoff, died of cancer in September 1989 at the comparatively young age of 60.

Mum, Anne, is one of the most active 73 year olds I have ever known.

My sister, Marilyn, has two children of her own, Ray and Laine (there's a story about Laine's name, as she decided to change it when she was 16, but I'll explain that on Marilyn's page) and is just one of the most natural mothers and nurturers of young people you will ever meet.

On these pages I want to give you a small snapshot of my immediate family, not in any great detail, but just enough to let you know a little about us and how we all get on.
